Were you sent to be a blessing,
or were you sent to teach me a lesson.
Were you sent to be the best,
or were you sent to hurt me like all the rest.
Were you sent to make me pay,
or were you sent to love me forever and a day.
Were you sent to make me suffer,
or were you sent to make my heart tougher.
Were you sent to hold me in your arms,
or were you sent to bring me harm.
Were you sent to make me believe,
or were sent to cheat, lie and decieve.
Were you sent for any of the above,
or maybe you were sent just for me to love.
